With The Season On The Line The Packers Defense Stepped Up And Stole A Win In Miami Thanks In Part To A Tua Meltdown

Well would ya look at that. With the season on the line it wasn't Aaron Rodgers playing hero ball that saved Green Bay. It wasn't Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, or Christian Watson coming up big. No, it was Joe Barry and the Packers defense who locked down the fish in the second half and helped Green Bay keep their miracle playoff hopes alive. 

That and Tua's disastrous meltdown.

Not one pick…

Not two…

But three back breaking interceptions in the 2nd half to drown the Dolphins. 

I like Tua, but my god those were BAD throws you can't defend from TuAnon HQ. Inexcusable with how much was on the line for Miami. Packers defense showed up for seemingly the first time all year and forced a season-high 4 turnovers. If they want to continue this effort moving forward I wouldn't object. 

As for Rodgers. I feel like this performance accurately summed up the current state of his game. He's not an MVP anymore. He's going to miss some throws that cause you to wonder if he should hang em' up after the game, like the 4th and 1 overthrow to Watson that wasn't remotely close. Today's redzone offense was disgusting to watch. Christian Watson leaving the game didn't help, but it used to not matter who was on the field for 12. While that does happen he's still going to deliver some dimes that very few on Earth can do.  

Can't say he's washed when he can still do that. He's…aging. 

Alright so with this win I'll begin to believe a bit. Fine, you'll sucker me you bastards. Win out at home and you're most likely in. Beat the Vikings, beat the Lions. It's really not that crazy anymore given the amount of luck they received this week from other teams. Those remaining opponents are far from lay-ups, but you win a game like this one on the road and I'll believe. 

Would it kill LaFleur to use Aaron Jones more. He's the best player on the field! Finally gave him the rock late and he picked up 18 on 1st and 20. Go figure. I know he's banged up, but if he's out there use the motherfucker. 

By the way, pray for Tank's family. The tree is down, I repeat the tree is down. No one is safe. You did this Tua.
