The Bahamas Bowl Ended With Incredible Drama And Is Every Reason Why Bowl Season Is Perfect
You could not have asked for a better start to Bowl Season than Miami (OH) and UAB getting together for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff in the Bahamas. This is why we do it.
The game — and total of 45.5 — came down to the final play, where the Redhawks completed a pass but ended up short of the goal line to give UAB the coveted Bahamas Bowl trophy. That last play would have been from the 30-yard line, too, if not for an insanely dumb facemask penalty from the Blazers moved the ball up 15 yards with just one second to go. This fourth quarter was everything you could have asked for out of a Friday afternoon bowl game.
I just fucking love this time of year, man. We have 41 more of these bad boys over the next couple weeks. Enjoy these blessings.
Thoughts and prayers to those who had the over in this one, though.
