Introducing The Most New Jersey Man Of All Time, Coach Pauly
Typically when I'm out of the tri-state area and meeting someone for the first time I'm asked if my town's religion followed the three rules of life: gym, tan, laundry. My pale Jew-ish 5'9" ass could not look more opposite of an Italian stallion so that might lead you to believe we did not religiously watch MTV every week from 2009-2012. It's at that point I'm obligated to reveal that Mike the Situation did indeed go to my high school years ago. That's how you get someone like Coach Pauly, the gentleman pictured on the left of Large in the video below, to exist.

You guessed it, Coach Pauly grew up in Manalapan, New Jersey as well. The Paul Serra who I knew is long dead. It's Coach Pauly now and he is a marvel to observe. Tonight he fights at Rough N' Rowdy which you can purchase here. I cannot wait to see the chaos unfold.

I didn't know Pauly that well in school since I was a loser and knew very few upperclassmen. All the girls and their white BMWs with eyelashes on the headlights flocked to Coach Pauly. Believe it or not this specimen was an insane athlete in his prime. My friends his age say he was the best of the best when it came to basketball and baseball. Skinny as a twig as well. Not sure when he hopped on the Liver King diet, but this new version of him is a sight to behold.
His Instagram is absolutely electric.
A lot of times he references his students and I truly wonder who he's talking about. Maybe they're real people. Maybe they're fictitious in the same way Dave used to say Barstool had advertisers in the beginning days of the company to make it seem more legit.

Real students or not, I'm amazed at this human being
I'm obviously biased, but out of every fight on the card tonight I'm locked in the most on Coach Pauly vs. 99 Proof. I don't know what to expect. He used to be an insane athlete, but clearly that's not the same guy here. His opponent seems to be taking this very seriously and based on the weigh in I'm pretty intimidated by the demeanor.
