A California High School Is Playing For A State Championship After Completing ZERO Passes This Season

Granada Hills Charter will play for a California state championship this weekend. If the Highlanders complete a pass in the title game, it will be their first of the season.

According to MaxPreps, Granada Hills has attempted seven passes in its 14 games, but none has found a receiver. I guess that's how you get a combined 3,964 yards on 344 carries from Dijon and Darrell Stanley.

I really don't understand how this is possible. Even if the team was horrible — and obviously Granada Hills isn't — you should luck into a couple completions over the course of 14 games. Especially running the ball 99 percent of the time, you'd think one receiver would have ended up streaking down the field wide open after 19 consecutive rushing plays. But I guess not.

Granada Hills can't throw the ball at all now, though. You can't risk ruining this achievement at this point. You either win playing the way you got here or go down swinging.

I will definitely be tuned into this game on Saturday night. I have to see this offense.
