Folks had already written off Jalen Hurts and convinced themselves that he couldn't be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Not even just that he couldn't be an elite quarterback, but that he couldn't play the position at this level. That he didn't have the arm for it. That he wouldn't be able to read the defenses. They figured the Eagles have an unlimited amount of picks in the upcoming draft, and they'd be using one of them to draft their franchise quarterback of the future. This was after just one full season of Jalen Hurts being a starter.
Little known fact about people? Most of them are fucking idiots. The majority of humans out there are dumb as shit. And I'm not just talking about fans, but there is a colossal amount of donkey-brained dolts in the media as well. Jalen Hurts is in the business of exposing these idiots, and business is boomin' right now.
157 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns last week against Green Bay. Then he goes off for 380 yards through the air yesterday with 3 passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown of his own. Two completely different performances just 7 days apart. Both of them equally as dominant and damn near perfect as each other. The man has as many rushing yards as Joe Mixon. More rushing touchdowns that either Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard. As many passing yards as Kirk Cousins. As many passing touchdowns as Justin Herbert. Fewer interceptions than almost anybody. Oh, and he also has the voice of an angel.
Put Jalen up in a singing competition against Patrick Mahomes and he beats his ass every day of the week, twice on Sunday. The facts are the facts.
