It Turns Out South Carolina Was The Best Team In College Football This Whole Time

I genuinely have no idea how this is the case, but South Carolina has somehow gone from 6-4 this time last week to finishing 8-4 with two of the best wins of any team in college football this season.

If you thought the Gamecocks would turn back into a pumpkin after taking down Tennessee, you couldn't have been any more incorrect. USC — I think it's earned the right to be called that at this point — went into Death Valley and ended the College Football Playoff hopes of another orange rival, putting 31 points on the board and taking down Clemson.

I am truly sick that known loser Shane Beamer has found a way to pull off these upsets in back-to-back weeks, but you just have to tip your cap to South Carolina. I don't know how many teams in the country could have won both of those games seven days apart. Gamecock fans went from staring down the barrel of a 6-6 season and wanting to fire offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield to one of the more memorable years in Columbia in a long time.

There's nothing like college football.
