Spittin' Chiclets And The State Of New York A Winning Combination
At the start of the season Spittin' Chiclets and Big Deal Brewing came through huge for the State of New York when it was announced they would become one of the "Original Six" states to offer the newest Chiclets creation.
Yes, I was selected to give the big announcement seeing I'm the New York native of the crew, but also because I find myself being a fan of all the New York teams as the years go by. Buffalo is one of my all-time favorite cities to go to for a good time and it was pretty obvious Big Deal Brewing Golden Ale would fly off the shelves there during the Bills and Sabres seasons.
What we did not know is that the Buffalo Sabres would go on an 8-game losing streak in November and need a "Chiclets Bump" to end it. The $EBR crew needed to step up to help the city and its fans, so we headed north to Ontario and to The Scorebet to get it done. If you didn't know "Sarge" was a Rangers legend in the '70s winning rookie of the year in the 1972-73 season. I've been fortunate to spend some time with Mr. Vickers throughout the years as his son Jim was my college roommate and I can say with ease he's one of those guys that is an even better person than he was a hockey player.
