Texas A&M Tried To Psych Out UMass By Firing A Cannon Right In Their Faces

When you're riding a six-game losing streak, you need to try whatever you can — even against UMass. Texas A&M can't afford to take anyone lightly.

And if you go pray in the corner of the end zone right in front of the cannon at Kyle Field, you do so at your own peril. That thing is going off right before kickoff come hell or high water. Maybe the Aggies should have tried firing the cannon at a few more opponents and they'd have a chance at playing in a bowl game.

It doesn't seem to have helped all that much so far in the game, though.

It turns out even the craziest of mental warfare tactics can't make up for the joke of a football team the Aggies keep trotting out there.
