Patrick Kane Officially Taken Off Cover Of EA Sports NHL '16

Well if you didn’t see this one coming then you’re either not very smart or very naive to the severity of the charges and situation surrounding Patrick Kane. And make no mistake this isn’t a company bending or backtracking under public pressure or PC culture, this is something EA Sports had to do. Like I’ve said when this news first broke, I hope the truth will have a chance to be told in an unadulterated fashion, no matter if it finds Kane guilty or completely exonerates him, but to unilaterally assume that he’s innocent because he plays for your favorite hockey team or carry on like nothing has happened is silly and shortsighted. Hopefully there will be an update from the police soon and we all get some more clarity on what occurred.

Assume the cover will just be Captain Serious. No better player in the league to represent the NHL and the Blackhawks organization.
