The Graph Of All The Possible Big Ten West Scenarios Is Beautiful Chaos

With two weeks left to go in the season, there are still five teams in contention to win the Big Ten West and earn the right to be throttled by Ohio State or Michigan in the Big Ten Championship Game. Four of the teams are tied with 4-3 conference records and no team controls its own destiny — which I honestly didn't even know was possible.

Purdue, Iowa and Minnesota can all win the division with the least amount of help, needing just to win out and have one other team lose a game — Purdue needs an Iowa loss, Iowa needs an Illinois loss and Minnesota needs a Purdue loss. After that, things get much more complicated and you can check out the graph to see every possible scenario.

This is what the ACC Coastal is supposed to be. But now that half the teams in that division have fallen off a cliff, we must turn our eyes to the Big Ten West to give us a wild divisional race among mid teams who have absolutely no shot in the conference title game. Coastal Chaos died so Western Wackiness could live.

I just hope all these teams have fun competing for a title of some sort before the winner gets its prize of a thorough demolishing in a game it doesn't belong in. Just enjoy the journey.
