November $EBR Western Conference Power Rankings With Tonight's NHL Winners

Giphy Images.

The NHL is one month into the season it's time to look back at the $EBR Western Conference Power Rankings from the start of the season and re-rank the teams.

Pre-Season West Conference Power Rankings:

  1. Colorado

  2. Calgary

  3. Vegas.

  4. Edmonton

  5. Minnesota

  6. St. Louis

  7. Nashville

  8. Vancouver

  9. Los Angeles

  10. Winnipeg

  11. Dallas

  12. Anaheim

  13. San Jose

  14. Seattle

  15. Chicago

  16. Arizona

Wow, I was way off in the West as only 4 of my 8 playoff teams are currently sitting in a spot to play for the Stanley Cup in the Spring. It’s time for some new rankings!

  1. Vegas Golden Knights - A new coach and a healthy Eichel have this team buzzing.

  1. Dallas Stars - Hand up, I was completely wrong about this team. Benn and Seguin are back-to-point-per-game players and Robertson is a budding superstar.

  1. Colorado Avalanche - A small cup hangover comes with no surprise the way we saw the boys pounding Pink Whitney all summer, but this team will never leave my top 3.

  1. Winnipeg Jets - Just when I gave up on my Jets they shove it in my face. The new coach has changed the culture and they look like a playoff team again.

  1. Calgary Flames - On a terrible stretch right now, but with a coach like this they need to stay in the top 5.

  1. Edmonton Oilers - I can not put 97 and 29 any lower with the way they are playing, but the rest of the team stinks. Whit would be an upgrade on the back end right now.

  1. Los Angeles Kings - A decent start, but giving up more goals than you’ve scored after 14 games is alarming.

  1. Seattle Kraken - An amazing start that nobody saw coming. Beniers is a superstar in the making and that home arena looks electric.

  1. Minnesota Wild - A horrific start where their goalies couldn't stop a beach ball. Things have turned and the Wild are crawling back into a playoff spot.

  1. Nashville Predators - This team should have called me to learn how to deal with jetlag, as they went 0-5 after flying home from Europe.

  1. Vancouver Canucks - 0-7 start had the great fans of Vancouver throwing jerseys on the ice, but don’t look now, they have 7 points in their last 5 games.

  1. Chicago Blackhawks - Surprising start to the season that is just not maintainable with that roster. They need to call me to explain how tanking for superstar works.

  1. Anaheim Ducks - Are a fun team to watch and a great team to bet the Overs with.

  1. Arizona Coyotes - They also need a lesson in tanking as they have won some big games already.

  1. St. Louis Blues - Pathetic start to the season, but out of respect for their coach I just couldn't put them at the bottom.

  1. San Jose Sharks - Team understands tanking and also understands their fans like to bet Overs. Erik Karlsson is back to being the best offensive defensemen in the league.

$EBR will be back in a month to see who is for real or who has dropped back to reality, but while we wait here are the $EBR NHL plays for tonight.
