The rumors of Georgia's vulnerability seem to have been greatly exaggerated.
The Bulldogs shut down the best offense in college football and beat Tennessee by 14 points — and it feels like it probably should have been at least double that. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind who the best team in the country is heading into next week's College Football Playoff rankings and the last few games of the season.
UGA's defense is truly terrifying and when Stetson Bennett is on, the offense is just as lethal. It is a football team without a single flaw.
And while Tennessee looked like a completely different team than it has all season, this is fine for the Vols. A 14-point road loss at Georgia does not take UT out of the running for a CFP spot if it takes care of business against Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
Just ran into a better team who wanted to prove something today. Lotta ball left to go.
