'Cash Me Outside' Girl Bhad Bhabie Not Only Made $50 Million on OnlyFans, She Just Spoke to a Packed House of Academics at Oxford

A great philosopher - and I can't remember if it was Socrates, Plato, or Steven Segal - who famously said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Which I have always taken to heart. In so far as I have zero use for or patience with anyone who isn't utterly fascinated with people and what makes us the way we are. What factors influence us. What motivates us to do the things we do.

In the context of this discussion, I'm talking specifically about how, in the span of just a few years, a human being can succeed in going from this:

… to this:

And the fact that Dr. Phil explained to Joe Rogan how, after Cash Me Outside girl and her mom were brought back on his show, but without a studio audience, they had nothing to say. Without a crowd to play off of, they were dumbstruck and the interview lasted about 15 minutes:

… makes it all the more interesting.

If you're not absolutely fascinated by the way a mother and daughter team, seemingly without a speck of talent or a single redeeming quality that could contribute to society in any way, could figure out a way to manipulate a TV audience in one trainwreck interview and turn their infamy into a financial empire, I simply don't know what to say to you. Even if you resent their success - and believe me, I do too as I sit here trying to drive content everyday in order to keep the lights on - you just have to admire the sheer audacity of it. The perverse genius of it. It's a bizarre form of alchemy. Turning the lead of their terrible personalities into a fortune in gold.

But strange as this might sound, it's nevertheless true that in the times in which we live, anyone can make $50 million a year. Not just by selling OnlyFans subscriptions based on the promise of showing your bathing suit areas, though there is that. But there are also YouTubers, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok and assorted cross-pollinated influencers making money in ways that were unimaginable even 10 years ago.

Still, Bhad Bhabie has done is more impressive than any of them. Because while the world is lousy with influencer millionaires, there's only one who can claim to have drawn a capacity crowd of intellects at one of the most prestigious institutes of higher learning the world has ever known:

Source - Danielle 'Bhad Bhabie' Bregoli spoke about abuse, her career and rise to fame at a highly awaited Oxford Union address this week.

The Florida rapper, 19, was greeted with a rapturous applause when she walked into the hall and sat down to be interviewed.

Students were spotted queueing for hours as they waited for the US artist to take the stage and deliver a speech on November 2.  …

Among those who have been speakers at the prestigious institution in the past include former presidents such as Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton; dignitaries such as Queen Elizabeth II, Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama; historical figures such as Malcolm X and Albert Einstein; and entertainment icons such as Billy Joel and Sir Elton John.

At her address Bhad Bhabie said she wanted to help 'young hustlers' starting their own business.

In August she was involved with the Educapital Foundation in the forming of the Bhad Scholarship, a $1.7 million scholarship to aid 1,000 students in trade and technical schools. …

The businesswoman gave her speech 24 hours before female education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winning Malala Yousafzai.

It's only human to resent this level of success coming to someone with so little to offer. But at the same time, how do you not applaud the accomplishment? A 19-year-old who should be probably be graduating from juvey to big girl prison right about now. And instead she's a multimillionaire walking in the footsteps of world leaders and Nobel Prize winners. With old money, blue blood, aristocrats taking time off from spending their inherited wealth to hear her tell them how to be successful. Hell, Einstein had to do no less than unlock the secrets of time and space to get into that room. This chick just had to be insufferable on TV and expose herself for money and Oxford came begging. And I'm sure there were empty seats available when the Father of Relativity gave his TED Talk.

Also, good for Bhad Bhabie that she's using some of those riches to help others. For real. Especially encouraging young people to get an education in the trades, which I personally think is way undervalued today. Sincerely, good on her.

But let's be honest, all that altruism is not why all the Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs are waiting in line to here her talk. And it's not because she's famous. It's because she's famous for being famous. Which is the most intoxicating fame there is. Like Bill Maher said awhile back about how Gen Z loves to talk about how much they respect and admire Greta Thunberg for her climate activism. But that chick has a following that is a tiny fraction of one percent of what Kylie Jenner has for looking pretty in designer clothes and shoes that cost more than your house. So let's not forget Ms. Bhabie is a big deal at Oxford because she's still the Cash Me Outside girl. And that, in and of itself, is part of what makes the human race so insanely fascinating. What a world.
