Hell yeah.

This made me proud to be an American. I would have never thought of Halloween as something that embodies the things that are great about the United States, but seeing it through the eyes of someone who grew up somewhere that Halloween wasn't possible makes you realize how lucky we are to live in a country where communities can come together for something like this.

For America's many flaws, it's good to take a step back every once in a while and remember this is still the greatest country in the history of the world.

Also, Yoel wasn't messing around when he said he loves Halloween. He was dropping handfuls of candy into kids' bags. That's the house to hit in that neighborhood.
