Eddie Piñeiro Had A Pregame Selfie Session Before Missing Not One, But Two Potential Game-Winning Kicks

I know I'm writing this blog with the benefit of hindsight and that's not entirely fair to Eddie Piñeiro. He hadn't missed two season-altering kicks at the time he was taking tongue-out selfies on the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and you never know what is going to happen in a game.

With that said, however, you can't pose for selfies like a high school girl trying to take the perfect Snapchat for long enough that a cameraman notices and then miss multiple game-winners in a dome. Just can't happen.

And now you have to just delete those pictures, anyway. You can't have the most recent picture in your camera roll be this bad boy that came right before you had the worst day of any player in the NFL:

Just a tough scene all-around. You hate to see it, but that's what happens when you have to attempt kicks under pressure against the first place Falcons in front of a raucous crowd at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Maybe instead of taking SELFIES before the game, wait until after you win the game and take pictures with your TEAM. There's a lesson to be learned here, kids.
