Looks Like The Oakland A's Will Be Moving To Las Vegas Sooner Than Later

This is a shame, because the A's have a lot of history. They just can't find a home. Whatever the reasons are - bad ownership, local politics, whatever - this is the right move though. Vegas is a city that has shown it will rally around its pro sports teams. I've been to Vegas twice since they brought the NHL to town, and the dealers and locals I'd by yucking it up with all really love that team. Granted, the Knights were immediately awesome, which helps, but the A's have shown they'll be competent more often than not so long as Billy Beane is at the helm.

I'm sure they'll get sick new digs, too. The Oakland Coliseum is an abomination to the lord. The fact that an MLB team plays there 81+ games a year is despicable.
