UPDATE: James Corden Takes Back His Apology For Acting Like A Monster At Balthazar, Says The Entire Situation Is "Beneath Him"

Source - James Corden has retracted the apology he made to an NYC restaurant owner earlier this week ... 'cause he's now saying he did nothing wrong.

'The Late, Late Show' host sat down with the New York Times Thursday and called allegations "silly" ... he acted like a "Cretin" by 2 twice going nuts at Balthazar brasserie in Soho.

"I haven't done anything wrong, on any level. So why would I ever cancel," Corden told an NYT reporter, referring to their interview after his embarrassing restaurant flap.

Corden goes on ... "I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it's so silly. I just think it'd beneath all of us. It's beneath you. It's certainly beneath your publication."

There he is! That's the James we all know - the tiny cretin of a man who by all accounts is a fucking nightmare to everyone around him. Why he didn't just let this die is beyond me. Nevertheless, it proves what we always knew about James, that he's kind of a dickhead. An entitled Ellen Degeneres-light who no one actually likes because he's treats people like shit.

The craziest part about the entire situation is the fact that Corden actually doesn't understand why he was wrong.  Which he proved once again after seeing a customer complain about their meal during the interview...

"Happens every day," Corden told the reporter. "It's happening in 55,000 restaurants as we speak. It's always about eggs." Then he got serious ... "Can you imagine now, if we just blasted her on Twitter? Would that be fair? This is my point. It’s insane.”

Having said all that, I wanted to point out that even though James was/is an apparent nightmare to the service industry, most people aren't. Most people are actually too nice. The mindset nowadays seems to be that just because someone is a waiter means they deserve a pass. Shitty service? Must've been overwhelmed. Bad attitude? Must've had a long day! Took an hour to get your meal? Look how many tables he has! What I'm trying to say is people don't deserve a pass for being bad at their job because of what their job is. Waiters are no exception. You'll get your 20% just make me want to give it to you.

As far as this feud goes, I'm pretty sure it's done. Corden will be re-ban from that creep Keith McNally's restaurants (he allegedly used to hand around Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffery Epstein) and the world will go back to normal. That's it for this one. Have a lovely Friday and remember...treat your wait staff well.
