Alabama WR Jermaine Burton Appears To Hit Multiple Tennessee Fans — Including A Woman — Leaving The Field Saturday

We have multiple videos which certainly seem to show Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton swinging at two Tennessee fans while leaving the field after the Crimson Tide's 52-49 loss to the Volunteers on Saturday. One of the fans is a woman.

I believe I still have to use words like "allegedly" and "seemingly," though we can all see in seemingly plain sight what allegedly occurred. Both videos show Burton going out of his way to make contact with the two Vols fans.

At least we can all put aside football here and be sure Alabama fans aren't defending Burton in this instance.

You know what, that's on me. I should have known better than that.

Burton transferred from Georgia to Alabama prior to this season and has just 18 catches for 226 yards through seven games for the Tide. He certainly appears to be frustrated.
