Draymond Green Talking About Punching Jordan Poole On His New TNT Show Was Bizarre As Hell

Before I even say anything, just watch this shit

I'm sorry, but that was weird as shit. When I first heard that Draymond and TNT were joining forces to put out this little documentary/show "The Countdown" before the Celts/Sixers tip I couldn't wait to see it. I guess that's life now in 2022. When you do literally anything, including punch your own teammate in the face, just make content out of it! The easiest way to try and control your own narrative is to put out your own documentary/behind the scenes type content. That's Day 1 stuff for pro athletes

But after watching the episode, it was all just so strange. During the whole thing I kept getting the vibe that Draymond was attempting to make it seem like he was the victim in all this. They even used the word exiled! I mean I guess he was for a few days, but it was all his own doing! Then you had the clip of him actually addressing it and all we got was that it was actually a positive thing because now look at how much upside Draymond has to turn things around?

What????

I'm not sure what Draymond and Klutch thought the outcome of this would be, but in my opinion it only has made things worse. I know people can get suckered into some sweet behind the scenes basketball footage (I am one of those people), but this was just sad. Do you think Jordan Poole gives a shit about the upside? Well scratch that, I doubt he gives a shit about anything after that punch landed him a few more million in his massive extension.

This is probably something that didn't need to happen, but as we know content rules all in 2022. I would just love to ask how his teammates truly feel about it. Do Warriors fans think this was a good idea/Draymond came off better as a result of this? I don't know how the answer could possibly be yes.

Whatever though, they're the champs. They get their rings tonight and Draymond is still around. I guess that's what matters but yeesh what a brutal look.
