Chalk It Up As A Win For The Lions - Christen Harper Was Named SI Swimsuit Rookie Of The Year
We got the Lions coming off bye week and hopefully things are turning around. By that I mean hopefully D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown are healthy because the Lions are fun as shit to watch. They can't stop anyone worth a damn, but they are almost a lock for a TV screen simply because their games are high scoring, entertaining and close. They need a win though. They are still 1-4, because, again, they can't stop anyone.
So you know what? We're moving this from a tie to a win. I know she was co-Rookie of the Year, but it's still Rookie of the Year. I'm giving her an unofficial vote which officially gives her and the Lions the win. It's my blog, my rules. I do hate that they have co-Rookie of the Year. It's like when the Big 10 gives out 10 people on the preseason First Team for college basketball. There are 5 players on a court for a team, not 10. There should be 1 Rookie of the Year with the only outlier being in 95 when Grant Hill and Jason Kidd split it in the NBA. They are Hall of Famers so I'll allow that one.
