The Bucs Suck! Rico OVERreactions Week 6

1- THE BUCS SUCK !

Steven Cheah can spin this however he wants or try to but this team flat out SUCKS. Shambles city. Lose outright to the Steelers? What are we doing? The offense looks like shit, Brady looks old. It's a mess. And people like Cheah, who is wrong way more than he leads on, will say they still lead the division. News Break…that's because the division is horrific. Theres 5-7 teams in the NFC alone playing better football than the Bucs. The Atlanta Falcons being one of them, who the Bucs were GIFTED a win over with a shitty roughing the passer call.

Tampa may still win this division, but I am shorting this stock as much as I can.

2- The Jets May Make The Playoffs

Not since the days of Rex Ryan have the New York Jets had such a buzz around them. Hand up. I was wrong. I thought the Jets win total under was EASY this year. I was dead wrong. I can't figure out what the hell is going on with Gang Green, because I still don't think Zach Wilson is good. However, the defense is playing solid and Sauce Gardner looks like Darrelle Revis 2.0.

The AFC is very strong but with Miami losing Tua, the Bengals being up and down, the Broncos sucking, that 7 spot in the AFC could have the Jets name on it. With the way they are playing who can argue?

3- Brian Daboll Is A Mastermind

The New York Giants are 5-1 and still the most disrespected team in the league. Wins over the Titans, Packers and Ravens, yet still people don't think they are good (shoutout Smitty). They play defense, limit mistakes and are straight up tough. It's fun to watch, especially after rooting for them through so many dark years.

What's amazing is they are doing this all with a crew of Wide Receivers that are far from elite if not good.

Richie James, Darius Slayton, and David Sills V are the leading receivers since Sterling Shepard went down. Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay are MIA.

Imagine what Daboll's offense and what Daniel Jones could do with actual receivers? What they are doing right now should be labeled as nothing short of remarkable. The coaching staff is maximizing a very minimal amount of talent.

Trades are rare in season, but the Giants should be looking for a playmaker soon if they continue to stay in this playoff race.

4- Ban The Broncos From Primetime Games

Last night's overtime game was entertaining to an extent, but my god am I sick of watching the Broncos, who have been featured in primetime seemingly every week.

I am sick of watching this team. Get them off my TV. Ban them.

(Quickly checks the schedule)

Broncos are the London game on 10/30 and have another SNF game vs. The Chiefs. Thank god it's only those two

5- The Chiefs Loss To The Bills Could Haunt Them In The Playoffs

The Bills and Chiefs are not only the class of the league, but the class of the NFL. For the last two seasons they have met in the NFL Playoffs. In 2021, the AFC Championship, last year in a divisional classic. The common themes in both games, The Chiefs won, and the games were in Kansas City.

The Bills just took down Kansas City in Kansas City giving them a major edge in a tiebreaker scenario for home field in the playoffs. Buffalo playing host to KC in the playoffs is something we haven't seen yet in this blossoming rivalry. Is that the key for the Bills to finally get past KC and overcome the obstacle they have encountered the last couple of years ? Time will tell, but I do know this, when it's -11 in January and Bills Mafia is going absolutely bonkers , Patrick Mahomes will wish the capacity crowd would have been behind him instead of against him, and he'll could have this October day to look back on as the reason why.
