Forecaster Frank NFL Picks: Week 6
I struggled in Week 5, going 7-8-1; I stand 40-37-3 on the season.
Thursday Night

Bears 20 Commanders 17
The PMT Bowl could not be worse than last week's game, with the Colts edging the Broncos in the Glue Bowl, which had everyone wanting to sniff glue. The Commanders are a mess, with Ron Rivera identifying Carson Wentz as the reason his team is losing. Take the Bears.
Sunday at 1
SF-5.5 (o/u 44.5)
49ers 27 Falcons 16
The Falcons have played well at times, sitting at 2-3 as they have been in most games. The 49ers, meanwhile, are just finding their stride with a strong defense helping to make it easy for the offense.
Cle -2.5 (o/u 43)
Browns 20 Patriots 17
Bailey Zappe was impressive in his first start as the Patriots smothered the Lions. Now in his first road start, he faces a Browns team that could easily be 5-0 instead of 2-3. Look for Cleveland to bounce back and win by a walk-off field goal.

GB -7.5 (o/u 45)
Packers 37 Jets 17
Both teams are 3-2, giving Jets' fans reason to celebrate while they are concerned in Green Bay. The Packers are due for a get-right game, and this is it.
Ind -1.5 (o/u 42)
Colts 23 Jaguars 6
The Colts never win in Jacksonville; the Jaguars never win in Indy. Look for the Colts to avenge their shutout loss in Week 2 by beating up on the suddenly struggling Jags.
Min -3.5 (o/u 45.5)
Vikings 27 Dolphins 16
The Dolphins are starting Skylar Thompson on Sunday with two quarterbacks in concussion protocol. This is a disaster for the Dolphins, who have had a season's worth of injuries in the first five weeks.
NO +1.5 (o/u 43)
Saints 24 Bengals 20
Joe Burrow returns to New Orleans for the first time since winning the National Championship at LSU. The Bengals appear to be suffering from a Super Bowl hangover; a trip to NOLA provides no relief.
NYG +5.5 (o/u 45)
Ravens 20 Giants 17
The Giants are still not getting any respect, despite their 4-1 start. Not that they will win this game, but the spread is too high as Justin Tucker nails a walk-off field goal.
TB -8 (o/u 43.5)
Buccaneers 30 Steelers 10
Since the loss of T.J. Watt, the Steelers have been spinning their wheels. Already dealing with a rebuilding offense, the Steelers defense is now getting torn asunder.
Sunday Late Games
LAR -10 (o/u 41)
Rams 41 Panthers 9
At 2-3, the Rams have also experienced a Super Bowl hangover. Unlike the Bengals, they have the perfect cure, a Panthers team that made a coaching change, as an injured quarterback and appearing to be having a fire sale before the trade deadline.
Sea +2.5 (o/u 51)
Seahawks 31 Cardinals 27
Hard to believe, but Geno Smith is leading the NFL in QBR. Look for another big game for Geno as the Seahawks get back to 3-3 against the Cardinals.
Buf -2.5 (o/u 54)
Bills 37 Chiefs 30
The Bills seek revenge for last year's playoff loss. The Chiefs are coming off an escape against the Raiders, as they have not played as well as their 4-1 record suggests. Expect fireworks as Buffalo seals itself as the best team in the AFC.
Sunday Night
Dal +6 (o/u 42)
Cowboys 23 Eagles 20
Get the champagne on ice. The Eagles, the last unbeaten team in the NFL, are due for a loss. The Cowboys, with a dominant defense, will again have a big day as the Cowboys begin to take on that Super Bowl look.
Monday Night
LAC -5.5 (o/u 45.5
Chargers 20 Broncos 10
Dear NFL,
No more Broncos' games in primetime, Please.
Sincerely,
Everyone
