How In The World Did The Purdue/Maryland OVER Just Hit?

An improbable win.... 

Let me set the stage... the over was 59/59.5 depending on what number you got which I recommended earlier today on the blog. This game was 17 all at half. The third both teams combined for OOGOTZ in the third and I'm thinking how on earth does that happen?

I admitted to myself this was a loser... Maryland would score around the 8 minute mark of the 4th but then miss the extra point, so any shot at an OVERTIME over was DONE. 

Or so I thought... Purdue would follow it up with a score and go up 24-23, Maryland goes three and out and punts with timeouts left. Purdue gets the ball and my hope it go down and score and give me some time left for a late score, this would subsequently happen... tight end Payne Durham was RUMBLING.

The problem was Maryland exhausted all their timeouts near the goal line. It was 3rd and goal, when Jeff Brohm decides to PUNCH IT IN. 31-23 Purdue. A wild choice, but I'll take it. Maryland gets ball, marches down the field with about 1:10 to go and it all ends with a MARYLAND TD WITH 40 SECONDS LEFT TO TAKE THE GAME OVERRRRRR

34 POINTS WITH 7:55 LEFT AND IT GOES OVER. I had just had to go nuts... a bad beat for Under bettors for sure, but I'll take it. 

I feel bad for sure with this unknown individual egg account. 

I'll take it and move to 10-4 on the season with my college football blog bets.
