Brutal Brooklyn Fans Boo Ben Simmons In His First Home Game. Bad Sports Town?

First and foremost, I must rebuke the broadcast here for insinuating that Philly fans would be the culprits behind these boo's. As a fanbase, we have collectively moved on from Ben Simmons and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. Philly fans have too many other things to focus on right now like the Eagles being the only undefeated team left in the NFL, the Phillies advancing to the postseason for the first time since 2011, a buzz around the Sixers season, and the Union being an absolute wagon. We have too much going on right now to even give a hoot about Ben Simmons, who is no longer a Philly athlete.

Those boo's are clearly the doing of Ben's own people now. Brooklyn fans are once again showing their true colors. The man plays in his first game in over a year, and he is received by a flurry of booing fans in his home building while he's just trying to do his job. When Ben Simmons was on the free throw line as a member of the Sixers, Philly fans would do nothing but cheer for and support him.

Now he gets to Brooklyn and immediately gets boo'd whilst attempting his first two free throws in a Nets uniform. Bad fans! Bad sports town! And bad broadcasting by claiming it was Philly fans doing the boo'ing without any hard evidence! The national media lies again. What else is new?

Anyway, we've moved on. Tough to care about a guy who refuses to shoot the ball when we have Tyrese Maxey to take up the majority of our thoughts all day.
