Talk about things you love to see. It's been a long 539 days since we've seen Jamal Murray on an NBA court, and based on his first half I'd say he looks as good as ever. I can only imagine what it felt like to hear his name called over the PA again let alone seeing that first three drop. That had to feel so fucking good. Everything Murray's been through over the last two years, losing seasons of his young prime, it's awesome to see him back and looking healthy. Make no mistake, the version of Murray that the Nuggets get is going to go a long way into determining what their ceiling ultimately can be. If he regains his old form which it sure looks like he's going to do? The Nuggets are dangerous as hell. It's been long enough to where I think some out there may have forgotten just how good Jamal Murray is

you pair that guy with a two time MVP, a good coach, and legit depth and that's how you build a team that can contend with anyone out West. This isn't the 2021-22 Nuggets with Murray and Michael Porter Jr back. Now Jokic has actual high end talent as help. Trying to defend this roster gets infintately harder having to deal with a healthy Jamal Murray & Co.

That's right, we can't forget about MPJ. He's back from a billion back surgeries and looks just as awesome

Together they combined for 22 first half points and have looked about as great as you could ask for as a Nuggets fan. They've waited a long ass time to have their team back on the floor together, so it's cool to finally see it back in action. The top of the West is going to be a bloodbath all season, especially if everyone in Denver stays healthy.

I know, they lost this game to the Thunder. That's embarrassing, no two ways about it. Especially playing at home. But these games don't matter. What does matter is Jamal Murray being back, and that means so is the dea that the Nuggets could seriously contend.
