Liberty's Jaivian Lofton Is The Clear Front Runner For Catch Of The Year After This INSANE One-Handed Grab

Liberty receiver Jaivian Lofton made the catch of the year against Old Dominion with a one-handed, back-handed grab with a defender on top of him — albeit not playing the best coverage in the world. It was a great throw from Kaidon Salter and an even better catch by Lofton.

Play that video with sound, though, because Liberty's play-by-play guy absolutely could not be bothered to give a shit. I'm assuming that's their radio guy played over the video, which is egregious. If you were listening to that play, you'd think Lofton was standing in the end zone with nobody near him. You wouldn't believe that was the same catch once you saw the highlight.

Regardless, it's going to be tough to find a better catch than that one this season.
