Jon Hamm Thinks RHOBH's Erika Jayne Should "Give Back The Earrings," Case Closed

Unexpected “Housewives” fan Jon Hamm called out Erika Jayne for her hesitation to give back the $750,000 diamond earrings her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, gifted her with allegedly stolen settlement funds.

“You just want to shake her and go, ‘Honey, they were never yours,'” the “Mad Men” alum, 51, said on Sirius XM’s “The Howard Stern Show” on Monday. “Give them back.”

He then questioned whether the earrings are valued at $750,000 or $1.3 million, but reaffirmed, “Give them back.”

The luxe items were originally valued at $750,000 when purchased back in 2007. However, their worth has since increased.

In January, the trustee in Girardi’s bankruptcy case filed a claim requesting to have the diamond earrings returned. They alleged the jewelry was bought using money that was in a client trust account at Girardi’s old law firm, Girardi & Keese.

CASE DISMISSED. GIVE BACK THE EARRINGS!!!!

For those who haven't been keeping up with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the drama that surrounds Erika Jayne in the wake of her husband Tom Girardi's embezzlement charges, there has been an ongoing storyline the last few weeks concerning a pair of earrings that Tom once bought Erika. Recent reports are that he bought the earrings with money he skimmed off the top from 9/11 victims, and its TBD on whether or not Erika needs to return them so these victims can be paid off with some of the money they cost. Erika Jayne...refuses to do this. She says that she'll give them up "when a court of law tells her to." It's been met with mixed feelings because 1. why would you even want these earrings anyway if the way they were acquired is fucking sketchy and gross, and 2. why not just give them back anyway in act of good faith? They're EARRINGS.

Jon Hamm, who is a Real Housewives fan, is in full agreement. I love when guys are into Bravo shows, watching Jon get into this as if he knows these women personally is hilarious to me. He's got his finger on the pulse and his heart in the right place. YOUR MOVE ERIKA, DO THE RIGHT THING.
