Aaron Rodgers Airs Out Buccaneers Jumbotron Operator In Post-Game Interview, Claims The Bucs Showed Something That Gave Him An Advantage

It's hard to fully decipher what this is about, but Rodgers was clearly salty when he thought there should've been a delay of game on the play before the TD. Certainly it was close. But what it seems to signal is that the Buccaneers jumbotron operator showed something that he shouldn't have.

What was it??

My guess would be some type of communication on the sideline that signaled what the play was going to be or some type of conversation to indicate who the ball was going to. Rewinding, maybe it was a quick signal that Rodgers yelled out?

The Buccaneers had the playclock winding down at the 2 yard line for their 2-point conversion and got a delay of game. Unacceptable, but it appeared they were going to run the ball with Leonard Fournette, which they obviously didn't do on goal-to-go from the 7 yard line. My thinking here would be that they caught some type of communication on the 2-point conversion attempt from the 7 yard line, Aaron Rodgers saw it, recognized the call or play (all NFL playbooks are pretty similar, but verbiage varies from team-to-team. Some teams have similar verbiage though.) and screamed it to either a Coach who could relay it into the Defense or he just yelled it from the sidelines.

Either way, the delay of game was a horrific execution issue and the 2-point conversion attempt didn't convert so the Bucs fall to 2-1. They'll play the Chiefs next Sunday night in Tampa. Hopefully the jumbotron issue is corrected by then as I don't hope anybody gets fired over what was likely a simple mistake.
