BREAKING: Max Homa Says He Will Join The LIV Tour For $2 Billion

On today's Pardon My Take… MAX HOMA! The back-to-back "Fortnite" Championship winner joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter to discuss his wild win on Sunday afternoon, what's ahead in the 2022 Presidents Cup this week, and much more.

A major talking point in the golf world this year is the PGA Tour vs. the LIV Tour. A bunch of golfers have switched sides, but Homa is currently a PGA Tour member and is not going anywhere… UNLESS he is offered a total of $2 billion by the LIV Tour. That's right, billion with a "b." He and the crew talked through this hypothetical on today's show. Take a look:

Mr. Cat: Max, let's let's make a headline for the show, because you do listen to the show. How much has the LIV Tour offered you?

Max Homa: $1 billion, allegedly.

Mr. Cat: Really?! Holy shit. Allegedly. Are you entertaining the offer?

Max Homa: I said I'm $2 billion or nothing. 

Mr. Commenter: Okay.

Mr. Cat: Okay, alright, so we have a price. 

Mr. Commenter: $2 million.

Mr. Cat: So, that's the headline. Max Homa: $2 billion, will join the LIV Tour. 

Max Homa: (laughing) Sure.

Mr. Cat: I mean that's… listen. Can we work our way in that? If they offer you $2 billion, could you hire us to work for you?

Max Homa: Oh yeah. At that point, who cares at that point. We could do what we want. 

Mr. Commenter: We would be your exclusive media team, and we would only do Max Homa coverage, and it would be a great match, I think, I know the Saudi Royal Family are AWL's. So, if you've been waiting to contact Max, please reach out to us directly and we'll handle the contract negotiation. But I think we can make that work. $2 billion to you and let's say $250 million to us.

Max Homa: That sounds that sounds like a fair price. But Big Cat, I think you said you would never watch me play golf ever again if I joined. So, it seems like you have a price for that.

Mr. Cat: Well, I could follow you and just keep my eyes closed the whole time.

Max Homa: Okay. Yeah, that actually works.

Mr. Cat: Yeah, I just like, I would literally be like, behind your caddy, and I just would never… I'd wear a blindfold. That would, you don't think people would tune in to watching me, like, run into ropes and trees. 

Max Homa: I would tune in just for that.

Mr. Cat: Yeah, right, it would be kind of fun to watch.
