The Government Issues Warning To Not Cook Chicken In Nyquil. Yes, Seriously

The FDA is warning TikTokers who are jumping on the latest craze to beware ... because NyQuil-marinated chicken is a dangerous thing.

It sounds as disgusting as it is dangerous ... "sleepy chicken" is what it's called ... some people say it helps with cold symptoms ... duh.

Thing is ... it's also unsafe. Meds that are boiled can be dangerous because they're much more concentrated and powerful and change properties ... so says the FDA.

What's more ... just smelling it can be dangerous. Folks at the FDA say inhaling vapors during the cooking process causes the drug to enter the cook's system, causing potential lung damage.

Honestly, this isn't the craziest dangerous internet trend. I could kinda see the thought process that goes into Nyquil chicken possibly being a cold remedy.

Now hear me out; chicken has always been involved in cold and flu remedies. I actually think chicken noodle soup has just been scientifically proven to help upper respiratory infection as well as anti-inflammatory properties.

Now, why wouldn't you mix some of that with over-the-counter remedies to really get that cold sorted out?

The FDA has been pretty sketchy over the pandemic, so they are probably hiding the silver bullet to curing a cold. It's in their financial interest to keep people sick; curing people is not profitable. See, I saw this tweet that explains it.

They don’t want you to eat the Nyquil Chicken because they know it's the true cure for the common cold. BIG PHARMA NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.
