I Got Banned From A Major Radio Station But I Don't Know Why

If you are following this saga , we are now on chapter 2. 

To catch you up … Part 1 was yesterday when I blamed Gio from WFAN for putting bad juju into the world about losing your wallet.

Gio played along on Twitter joking that he had super powers to make people lose things, or teams he trashes lose etc. 

I was pretty sure Gio owned up to his bad juju but I needed to call in and make sure he was going to own up to it. So I called in to the show. 

Gio owned up to his mistake, especially after I threatened to speak with management aka his old boss Mike Francesa (who he does a spot on impression of). I did a Chris Russo impression, he did Mike we shared a few laughs. 

Then Gio mentioned that Al Dukes couldn't take my call because my number was blocked on their call system.

I was shocked. How could I , the #1 caller on terrestrial and satellite radio be blocked by the biggest radio station in NYC and a place I not listened to growing up, but called a ton, and even appeared as a guest ? 

He also said I had only called 92 times and been on the air once … 

A quick check into the files shows that is very much wrong. 

Like the time I called Mike Francesa to wish him a Happy Birthday, and give him a pick (spoiler - it won with ease).

Or the time I called Mike Francesa and tried to talk about horses, to which he promptly told me "I am not a HAWSE guy" 

Or the time I got in a screaming match about Derek Jeter 

So Gio clearly had his facts wrong, maybe I'll have to call in Monday to get another apology. But nonetheless, Gio asks how this could have happened. 

I know that I had only been on the air with Boomer and Gio once in my life and it was when I trashed Doug Gottlieb, so I explained that had to be the reason. 

Gio seemed to agree and vowed that now that WFAN knows my number and my resume, even though I am still blocked they will be taking my calls in the future. Good ending for me and Gio for sure. 

The real story here is Boomer Esiason is NOT a ryder. He must have been texting with Frannie Lydon aka Hank and been persuaded to be part of the red light district gang led by Scituate's finest.

He made some digs about public transportation and my cell phone service. 

All in all I think some laughs were had, but we need to get to the bottom of who has silenced me at WFAN, and blocked my number. I really was crushed to hear that, and am glad we patched things up, but I really do need to know who would want to silence me so much they went into the system and blocked my number … 

I do know one thing … my man Tom Izzo would never do this. 

Maybe one day we'll get our answer. This saga continues ..
