REJOICE: Sturgill Simpson Has Released A New Single With Angel Olsen

So this is actually an Angel Olsen song that she re-released as a duet with Sturgill. I'll admit that I have never heard of Angel Olsen, but youtube search results for this song brought me to her Tiny Desk concert that I am enjoying as I type. 

The reason this is big news...first I've seen Sturgill singing in a year. This time last year he announced that he had to cancel his tour because he ruptured his vocal cords. There were some doubts about recovery and how long it would be before Sturgill would be able to perform again. Now it looks like that timeline has a light at the end of the tunnel. I feel like Sturgill has at least one more great and unique album in him because he has said in the past that he'd like to do an R&B type album and that seems like the only box he has left to check. 

Either way, the music scene is better with Sturgill. Glad he is back in some capacity and he is hoping he gets another tour going. I saw him at the Chicago Theater and at the Fillmore in Philly back in 2016 and those are two of the better concerts I've ever seen. Need one more like that with all of his albums featured. I want a casual 6 hour show. Not too much to ask if his cords have recovered.
