All Of MetLife Stadium Singing The National Anthem Before Today's Jets Game Gave My Goosebumps Goosebumps
Thousands of people singing their national anthem before a game always gets me. It doesn't have to be in the United States or on a day as emotional as 9/11 in an area that was directly impacted by those terrible events. But obviously seeing all that go down right across the river from where the Twin Towers stood with some of New York's Finest and Bravest in attendance hits even harder.
I remember when the NFL came back after postponing games following the events of September 11th. It felt like the entire country if not the world was united. Things have clearly changed A LOT since that day. But moments like this always has me hopeful that we can get back to a point where people are not so divided and at each others throats over our personal or political beliefs.
