Try Not To Laugh Challenge: Arizona QB Jayden de Laura's Chaotic Scramble Drill Must Be Seen To Be Believed

Once the Arizona Wildcats fell apart under former Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin, I kinda checked out on them as a football program not gonna lie. Now I'm wildly intrigued because of whatever the hell Jayden de Laura was doing on this play.

I get it. The Wildcats went 1-11 last season under Jedd Fisch in 2021. There's only room to improve. Why not try to impress the pants off a late-night college football audience against an SEC foe in Mississippi State by fucking around, making dudes miss and showing off just how physically gifted you are? Safe to say de Laura, a Washington State transfer, has some real talent to at least entertain us.

One obvious problem: The play ended in an interception. I felt like spoiling that in the headline would've been zero fun sir. Not pinning all this on de Laura, however. That receiver blew his shot to high-point that shit and could've definitely hauled it in. You get a little margin for error on the throw if you've done what de Laura just did.

Can only imagine Brandon Walker's reaction to this sequence of events. Considering Bulldogs kicker Massimo Biscardi has missed not one, but two extra points on Mississippi State's first two touchdown drives, BFW may be out of commission already, although only one of the astray PATs occurred before de Laura's near-midnight magic.
