Alabama Doing Horns Down to the Texas Crowd After Barely Escaping as a Three-Touchdown Favorite Is the Most Embarrassing Thing I've Ever Seen

This is the definition of cringe. Alabama, the No. 1 team in the country in the midst of one of the greatest runs in the history of college football, beat Texas and its backup quarterback by a point and left the field taunting the fans in Austin like they just embarrassed the Longhorns. Alabama was a 20.5-point favorite.

Even if they didn't have the self-awareness to realize how dumb it is, I thought players at Alabama would at least have a healthy enough fear of what Nick Saban would do if they pulled a stunt like this. I guess not.

Maybe the Bama we've known from the last few years is no more. They're content beating backups by a point — knowing they got every break along the way to even do that. So as embarrassing as this is, it seems like it might be great news for the rest of college football.
