We Got A HUGE Knockout To End Dana White's Contender Series Tonight

BOOOOOM! That's one of the best follow-up shot knockouts since Sean O'Malley put Thomas Almeida's skull through the crust of the earth!

Just a MONSTER punch from Vitor Petrino in our main event tonight which, of course, got him signed to the UFC immediately. Petrino told Laura Sanko that he wants to take over the UFC Light Heavyweight AND Heavyweight division and wants to make his debut as early as December.

Intern Lee said in our Spinnin Backfist show group chat after the card that Rodolfo Bellato (the guy who got slept here) would be a good signing for Bellator/PFL and I agree. Dude was pretty entertaining to watch as a fighter before he got his lights put out.

We had brothers earn UFC contracts tonight in Ismael and Gabriel Bonfim, and 32-year-old Karl Williams was also signed after coming in on 10-days notice, moving up a weight class, and impressing against Jimmy Lawson.

I'm happy for the Bonfim brothers, but even happier for their extended family for not having to go through the awkwardness of congratulating one brother and telling the other you're sorry if only one of 'em won tonight.
