BIG FOE LETS FUCKING GO!!!!

American Frances Tiafoe just pulled off the win of his life, taking out Rafa Nadal in four sets to advance to the quarterfinals of the US Open. You just had a feeling he was going to have a really good chance to get a W today with the line closing around Nadal -400 to win the match. Seems like still a lot, but that felt a ton lower than normal to me. The match unfolded just as the oddsmakers subtly predicted with Tiafoe seemingly overpowering the Spaniard most of the way.

Tiafoe blasted ROCKETS off his forehand all match, served brilliantly, and attacked Rafa's serve in big moments. That all resulted in the biggest moment of the 24 year old American's career.

Some of these points from the match were flat out ridiculous

Nadal wasn't at his best, but Tiafoe still needed to take this match from him if he was going to come out on top. That motherfucker never goes away even if it may seem like he's down and out. Rafa hadn't lost a match at a grand slam this year before Tiafoe crashed the party. The American's holds to go to 3-3 and 5-3 were BALLSY. Lot of guys would have crumbled in that moment with Rafa sensing his opponent was getting a bit tight. Crazy good performance.

Tiafoe joins a short list of Americans who have defeated the 'Big 3' at a major: Agassi, Roddick, Blake, Goldstein, Querrey. Just an incredible performance all together. I talked a lot about Kyrgios last night with his upset and how he's the favorite, but if there was ever a moment for Tiafoe to break through it's now. He plays at that level it's going to be hell for anyone opposing him. A win like this will do wonders for his confidence moving forward. He's a super well liked, hard worker with immense talent who has grinded to get to this moment. Good for that man.

P.S. Good call by this guy
