Serena Williams has lost at the US Open to Ajla Tomljanović and with that one of the all time greats has called it a career. It took three sets to take her down but the magic run is over. That final game was truly something else to watch. Serena refused to go away, but Tomljanović was simply too good in the end. Ajla was nails tonight on the biggest of stages. Despite all that pressure from Serena and the crowd she came through with the W. Look at this final game. 

Some of those points were truly unreal. Just an all time athlete refusing to go away and say good night. 

Afterwards she addressed the crowd and said her goodbye.

An incredible story finally comes to an end. One of the greatest athletes ever.

P.S. All the respect to Serena on a great career. This whole run she made during her final US Open was great, but our social team saying HERena Williams is unbelievably cringey. Are people saying this or just our guys? Very, very weird. Fucking Jack Mac.
