Football is back and so is my underdog parlay!

Football season is back and that means so is my three team underdog parlay! Last season I screamed from the mountain tops that was regression was coming but thankfully didn't see it until basketball season. I'm still riding that 2021 high, but I want to stress the importance of betting this parlay correctly. Just check out the blog I wrote last season. It's listed at the bottom of the blog.

Last night we had a shot with West Virginia and Purdue to both get dubs, but late turnovers hurt us. Something has to give here. Let's see if we can't start the season off on a big note.

Cincinnati +6.5

No disrespect to what Sam Pittman has been able to pull off in Fayetteville, but last season was a bit of an anomaly for the Razorbacks. That usually equates to being just a little overvalued in the marketplace. The Bearcats return eight starters on the offense, I expect to see that same monster running game as we saw last fall. Luke Fickell is no stranger to going on the road and springing the upset.

North Texas +10

Whenever I have to google a new head coach, it's usually because he didn't make a big splash as a coordinator. Sorry Rhett Lashlee..... It's hard to back a Mustangs team who has been a terrible 3-12 against the spread as a road favorite in their last 15 attempts. Sounds like Seth Littrell is going to have his team ready to go after last years ugly loss in Dallas. Give me the home dog to keep it close in Denton.

ECU +11.5

The talking heads LOVE the Wolfpack this season, wouldn't it be great to see them go down in flames week one? While that might not happen I do love this scrappy Pirates team. They return 15 starters on both sides of the ball. This game screams last team to score, wins. I'll take the double digit dogs with a sprinkle on the moneyline.

This weeks parlay pays 51/1 at the Barstool Sportsbook.
