Happy 2nd Birthday To The Pardon My Take Lottery Machine

On August 28th, 2020, Mr. Cat introduced a brand new piece of equipment to the Pardon My Take universe: a ping pong ball lottery machine. He ordered it from China for what I believe was $1,500 and it came semi-damaged. But it still worked enough for it to be useful.

The tradition of ending the show by drawing a number then began. We pulled nine balls out of the machine that day, and I have kept a running list of numbers picked since that day two years ago. It took about three months for one of us to finally get a number correct (1-100 are in the machine), but Billy Football correctly predicted No. 69 on the December 4, 2020 episode. However, it didn't take long for me to take the spotlight after he wanted to retire from picking numbers...

In the last two years, each member of the Pardon My Take crew has correctly guessed the lottery machine number at least once, with the exception of Hank. Big Cat reminds him of it every episode, and there is now even aTwitter account tracking whether or not Hank correctly guesses the number.

His time will come soon. He is beyond due to guess it correctly very soon. But for now, let's take a look at the running tally of how often each number has been picked…
