I know everyone is all excited that college football is back today, but I couldn't not blog this absolute murder. Not just because it's about as clean and vicious a poster you could possibly see, but also because it happened to be against former Celtics legend Vincent Poirier or as he's more commonly known, Vinny Sex Pants. RIPIP to him because he was just sent to the center of the earth. If you've been watching this game you know that Nurkic isn't just burying fringe NBA bigs, he's also giving Rudy Gobert the business and then telling him he's far too small to handle what Nurkic can bring on the block

Again, I know everyone is all about college football today, but seeing as how I'm not exactly pumped to see ASU go 7-6 again if they're lucky, I say give me all the basketball highlights to get my blood pumping in anticipation of the 2022-23 season. We've seen Luka go nuts, Giannis vs Jokic, and now Nurkic catching bodies. The season simply cannot get here soon enough.

And for Blazers fans, you have to love to see this. Nurkic played just 56 games last year and put up 15/11, and now that he has a new deal and Dame is set to be back and fully healthy, the Blazers are a team that should be much better than the 2021-22 version. Throw in the Jerami Grant trade and the continued development of Anfernee Simons, and if they can somehow find a way to play a lick of defense the Blazers could absolutely compete for a top 8 spot if not higher.
