Down 1 Run In An 0-2 Count With 2 Outs In The 9th Inning Against An All-Star Closer Is The PERFECT Time To Hit Your First Career Home Run

I can't think of a better time to hit your first career bomb. Down 0-2 in the count, down 1 run with 2 outs in the ninth vs an All-Star closer and you go yaya? Kyle Stowers must have huge balls because that is exactly what he did. Came up a few games ago and hasn't been great since But that didn't matter to Kyle. Facing Liam Hendricks with the game on the line and my guy showed he has ice in his veins. Took a ball low and away and drilled it to center field, the place exploded while Kyle delivered the fastest home run trot of the year while floating on adrenaline.

Great piece of hitting too, especially since the game should have been over. The White Sox inserted Adam Engel into left field as a defensive replacement in the 9th, good fielder who can usually make the routine catches, well except for this one.

WHAT AN IDIOT! NICE CATCH ENGEL!!! I mean that is a routine fly ball. He catches that ball and the Sox win the series, the Orioles lose 2 of 3 to a team they shouldn't have with Houston looming this weekend. Instead he misses the catch, Stowers goes yard and the O's win the game in 11. Insane turnaround, literally a routine fly ball that he just drops. If I was a White Sox fan I'd be sick. 

Meanwhile the O's clinched their third straight winning month for the first time since 2016 and are right there in the Wild Card race. Crazy game and a crazy 9th inning for the rookie Kyle Stowers living the goddamn dream.
