Lane Kiffin Says Ole Miss Found Its New Punter At A Frat House Keg Party

It's not quite Tennessee getting a kicker from a frat house couch 45 minutes before a game, but it's certainly unorthodox.

Ole Miss added punter Charlie Pollock to its roster last week, whom Lane Kiffin says the Rebels found "... down at the frat house at a keg party or something." Who knows how literal that story is, but Pollock punted at Nevada in 2020 before entering the transfer portal. He did not play anywhere in 2021, so maybe he really was just chilling at an Ole Miss fraternity waiting on Lane to call.

Pollock is listed at 6'1" and 250 pounds on the Ole Miss roster, so be on the lookout for a certified thicc punter if you're tuned in for a Rebels game this season. I'm no Ole Miss fan, but I think I speak for college football fans as a whole when I say we want Charlie to kick the shit out of the ball and then enjoy an ice cold Coors Light on the sideline between punts.
