All of these guys were great receivers in the NFL. But here's the thing about all of them--they sucked as college lacrosse players. In fact, they never even played a single game of college lacrosse. I mean they couldn't possibly be worse at lacrosse if they tried.

Jared Bernhardt? Well he is one of the greatest college lacrosse players of all time. He was a National Champion in 2017. He was the winner of the 2021 Tewaaraton Award as the best player in college lacrosse. He finished his career as the all-time career points leader in Maryland lacrosse history. And then he spent his final year of eligibility leading Ferris State to a DII football National Championship at quarterback. And tonight? Well tonight he made his NFL preseason debut as a wide receiver with the Atlanta Falcons.

Imagine how big of a jabroni you'd have to feel like right now to think that lacrosse players aren't the greatest athletes in all of sports. Jared Bernhardt spent 4 years absolutely dominating college lacrosse. That means that he spent 4 years away from playing football. Then he plays one year of D2 ball and is immediately hauling in tuddies in the National Football League. The man is a freak. It's just a damn shame the execs at HBO are a bunch of idiots and didn't choose the Falcons for Hard Knocks this year. It's going to be impossible to leave JB1/JB83 off the 53 man roster. What a storyline that would be to follow.
