A Guy in the Bay Area REALLY Wants Someone's Kid to Run in Front of His Self-Driving Car to Prove It Totally Won't Kill Them

Look, just volunteer your child to intentionally sprint in front of this stranger's car so he can show those total losers at TSLAQ how safe it is and how totally wrong they are. He's *pretty sure* the car will stop itself and everything will be fine. What could you have to lose?

I must say that in all the time I've been on Al Gore's internet, this is the weirdest open call I've ever seen. Sure, there have definitely been weirder things posted online, but I can never remember anyone requesting a favor from a stranger and having that favor be putting your child in front of a moving vehicle.

But for those of you IDIOTS who think this random Twitter user might be trying to kill a child, he's here to explain to you how wrong and stupid you are.

If you ever find yourself typing, "A lot of very stupid people seem to think I'm going to murder someone," you should stop right there and ponder if it's possible you might, in fact, be the stupid person.

Also, at the 12th tweet in this incoherent thread, this guy lets it be known he was totally just trying to trigger the anti-running-over-children woke mob the whole time. Suckers.

Whatever you can say about this insane person, you can't say he doesn't believe in self-driving vehicles. This guy cares more about the efficacy of Full Self-Driving cars — which is NOT a driverless system, morons — than I care about anything in the world.
