I'm Warning You About Ward
You may ask me - How could I possibly be excited for a Quarterback from Incarnate Word ? To which I ask, "Have you seen Cameron Ward?" I'll be honest I didn't watch much (see any) of Incarnate Word last year , however every buzz out west, specifically in Washington State involves Cameron Ward.
It's hard not to disagree after seeing his potential, which is why I'm on :

The Cougars rallied last year after firing their coach involving vaccination issues and finished the year 7-6 with a bowl loss to Central Michigan. Head Coach Jake Dickert stepped in for Todd Rolovich last year and guided the team to a 3-3 record. The biggest point of note on his staff is Offensive Coordinator Eric Morris (formerly of Incarnate Word) who will have an instant connection to Cameron Ward and the Air Raid system. Flat out I think this team can score, and in a conference like The Pac 12 can be in the mix in a LOT of games.

Ward's best options will be RB Nakia Watson and WR's De'Zhaun Stribling, Donovan Ollie, and Lincoln Victor - all with solid showings last year. The offensive line needs to improve but will be boosted by some transfers.
The defense returns 6 starters 4 of whom find themselves on preseason all conference teams. The unit itself was Top 50 in scoring defense (47th) and passing defense (47th). They'll need to improve against the run (80th), but a new defensive coordinator Brian Ward from Nevada as well as transfers at LB and Safety. They will be better than people think.
The schedule is always the rub and I think Wazzou can get bowl eligible with their draw.

Idaho, Colorado St, Cal and @Arizona
Most predictions have Wazzou ahead of both Stanford (road game) and Arizona St, so both of those are winnable, but for this exercise they win 1. That puts us at 5.
Likely take four losses from @Wisconsin, Oregon, @USC and Utah. Leaving us two swing games vs Washington and @Oregon St.
I really really buy this offense and I really really love the potential of this defense. I think Cameron Ward is a takeover type player and someone everyone will be captivated by. Get in on the over and cash that plus sign !
