Orioles' Closer Felix Bautista Now Has The Best Closers Entrance In Baseball (All Thanks To Me) And The Birds Are RED HOT

It was nice of Felix Bautista to let Edwin Diaz's entrance get all that publicity, because Bautsita's new entrance blows the trumpets out of the water. With the O's being the hottest team in baseball....again, they decided to give their closer a new entrance when he comes in to close out the game. It's Baltimore baby, there is only 1 song that brings fear to grown men here in Baltimore, it's Omar's whistle.

First the whistle hits and then boom, we get a light show. It's perfect. What isn't perfect is that there was an hour and a half rain delay so many of the folks left, but hey, it still hits. The whistle is literally bone chilling.

If you've seen The Wire you know what it means. Now when you hear it, you know Felix comin. It hits different when you look out to the bullpen and see 6'8, 280 pound Felix Bautista headed towards the mound, it is the PERFECT song for him. He is already a terrifying man because of how big he is, throw in the fact that he is routinely throwing 101 and 102 and you pair him with this song and it is legit game over.

And yes, the Ravens did it back in week 2 of last year after Michael K Williams, the actor who played Omar died, but I've been calling for YEARS for an Orioles closer to use this as walkout music. Finally it happened.

And how did it happen you ask? Well since I was the one who had the idea of the Ravens using it after Williams' death, I tried my luck again.

I tweeted this about Edwin's trumpets at 9:07 on Sunday night. Literally 9:30 on Monday night the Orioles had Bautista coming out to the whistle. That ain't no coincidence baby, I 100% believe I got the Orioles to do it, just like I got the Ravens to do it. Squeaky wheel gets the oil I guess.

But seriously, this entrance is nuts, it's sick, it will look insane in October when the Orioles are in the playoffs. 58-52, a half game out of a wild card spot and they are playing the best baseball out of anyone in the league. Not just are they a half game out of a Wild Card spot, they're 1 game behind the second spot, and 2 games behind the first Wild Card spot. A great come from behind 6-5 win last night over the Blue Jays shows how good this team is. Should have been down and out, but nope, they just keep battling. And this isn't just a hot month, or a hot week, they are playing unreal baseball since May. This is a playoff team, no doubt in my mind. They're 2 games behind the Jays for SECOND PLACE in the AL East, they are on a hell of a run right now.

These idiot baseball reporters think they sold at the deadline cuz they traded Mancini and Jorge Lopez, WRONG. Since then they've gained ground in the Wild Card Standing and are 6-1. Oh, and they also have the top prospect in baseball…AGAIN. This team is good, they know they're good, they are going to be adding more prospects to the lineup too, it's insane how this rebuild is working so well. And Brandon Hyde deserves Manager of the Year, I don't care who you root for, he is the MOTY. 51-38 since May 1st, 34-17 since June 11th and they are showing no signs of slowing down. Felix comin, Orioles comin.

But seriously, you all are welcome for the idea of the Omar whistle.
