Day 2 of Grit Week is in the books, and it was a big one. We began the morning on a trip from Boulder to Fort Lupton, the home of Jake Plummer's Mushroom Farm. It was definitely one of the most unique places I have been to, and it was really cool to see the passion that Plummer has for growing mushrooms. Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter interviewed the former NFL quarterback in one of the rooms where the magic happens.
A video tour of our full experience is coming soon to the Pardon My Take YouTube Channel. We then made our way to a food challenge for Billy. No spoilers on that, but you'll want to stay tuned to YouTUbe as well for whenever that drops.
Up next: Denver, where we got the chance to meet hundreds of loyal Award Winning Listeners. It's always so cool to meet everyone in person versus interactions on social media. Thank you to everyone who came out!
We ended the day with an annual Grit Week tradition: Watching Hard Knocks at an AWL's house. Thank you to Kyle and Myra for having us!
Today's main event: a Mount Everest equivalent hike. I have a Camelbak in hand and will hopefully not pass out. Stay tuned…
