A Drastic And Smart Change: Robby Anderson Announced Today He's Now Going By 'Robbie'

Going by your middle name is one thing. I'm here for the Robby/Robbie discussion strictly because I'm a Bobby. I agree with Robby - err, Robbie - Anderson. It's this simple. If you're a Bobby - it MUST end in a y. If you're a Robbie you go ie. It's that simple. That's all it is. I can't really describe it but as a Bobby I understand the rules. Bobbie? Dumb as shit. Robby is fine, but Robbie looks cleaner. 

This is big for Robbie Anderson though. You change all the juju with a number change AND a name change. Typically I say there needs to be a cut off for when you change your name. Like you can't all of a sudden go by DJ instead of Dan when you're 25. It's basically before junior high starts. That's the cut off. Maybe high school.*

*Unless you're becoming a blogger and think going by a nickname is necessary 

This is the key for the Panthers though. Have a bunch of first round picks at quarterback, clearly that position is all good. Now Robbie Anderson is going for 1,500 yards and 10 touchdowns. Robby Anderson wouldn't have done that.
