Wander Franco Had More Than $650,000 Worth Of Jewelry Stolen From His Car Back In June

Ummmm Wander, I probably wouldn't keep that much jewelry in my car, but that's just me. I also couldn't afford $650,000 worth of jewelry, but getting it stolen must be a a toughhhhh pill to swallow for anybody. Especially when you're rehabbing down in Jacksonville in AAA.

A burglar was arrested after breaking into Wander Franco's Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a wrench while he was down on a rehab assignment back in June. Since this guy was a genius, he went and pawned the very unique jewelry because that is what idiots do.

Jeff Passan posted details from the arrest report and it detailed what items were stolen from Franco.

"A $300,000 gold, diamond-crusted Cuban link chain and circle medallion with diamonds and a W in the center
A $200,000 rose gold Cuban link chain with diamonds
A $70,000 gold pendant with a medallion in green and blue lettering spelling "FRANCO 5"
A $44,000 Platinum Rolex watch with diamonds
A $20,000 American League championship ring
A $20,000 championship ring from Durham
A $5,000 gold pendant of Jerry the mouse from the "Tom and Jerry" cartoon"

I kind of need to see the $5K Pendant of Jerry from "Tom And Jerry". It's a fine cartoon but if I'm getting a necklace with a cartoon on it, it sure isn't gonna be Jerry. The Franco 5 necklace, I get. The Cuban link chain with a W in the middle, I get. But Jerry? That one deserved to be stolen.

To me it's wild that he was just driving around with all of this stuff in his car. I get it was in a safe, but when you're staying at a DoubleTree in Jacksonville, you can't just leave it in there. Awful decision making by Wander.

Wander also had an American League Championship ring...where did he get that? He didn't play on the 2020 team. Did they give everyone in the organization a ring? Because if so, it'd be hilariously typical baseball to get championship rings from Durham that are worth $20,000 but they can't afford to pay these minor league guys anything. Makes sense.
